Human-centred AI

In practice

Project Heartware is Nexpert’s applied social responsibility initiative – and a living showcase of how we design and deliver human-centred AI and digital transformation in practice.

While technology, automation, and AI are advancing rapidly, real adoption often fails at the human level. Not because people resist change, but because solutions are introduced without sufficient attention to understanding, context, learning barriers, and everyday workflows. Heartware was created to address exactly this gap.

Project Heartware

Through the project, Nexpert designs and runs hands-on AI and digital skills workshops for NGOs and their target groups. These workshops are built on the same structure, methods, and facilitation models as Nexpert’s commercial AI workshops – only delivered pro bono to groups that are typically underrepresented in digital transformation.

This allows Nexpert to continuously test, refine, and validate its workshop models in real-world settings. The focus is on practical use of AI, automation, and digital tools in a way that builds confidence, clarity, and meaningful participation. Technology is treated as a tool for work, learning, and decision-making – not as a goal in itself.

Cases

Heartware reflects Nexpert’s belief that responsible and effective digitalisation requires more than technical expertise. It requires the ability to translate complex technology into understandable, usable, and valuable solutions for diverse audiences. The insights gained through Heartware directly inform Nexpert’s commercial projects across organisations and industries.
